Module 3 “Learning Task Analysis”

Project ID: Over a 1-week  (5 day) period of instruction of 35 minutes per class in a release-time seminary, High School students will be able to successfully know and apply the methods of scripture memorization.

Learning Goal: After 3 hours of instruction, students will be able to become familiar with different memorizing methods, put into practice a scripture memorizing method, and use the method to successfully memorize scripture mastery passages.

Type of Learning: Cognitive strategies-Rehearsal strategy “used for basic learning tasks and complex learning tasks that aid in selection of information to be recalled and enhance retention of that information” (Smith, P.L., & Ragan, T.J. (2004). Instructional design (3rd ed.). Wiley. page 81)
